EBS Helsinki branch student union HEBS became part of NESU – Nordic Economic Student Union. For the Estonians probably the most familiar NESU organisation is NESU Tallinn, to which HEBS belonged as well. However, starting from this autumn, NESU-HEBS operates as its own suborganisation under them.

On Tuesday 28 August, the golf tournament of Estonian Business School, as part of events to celebrate the the 30th anniversary of the school, took place in Finland for the first time during its history. In addition to playing golf, it also aimed to strengthen the business- and academic relations between the Estonian and Finnish campuses of the school.
Estonian Business School’s Bachelor’s programme International Business Administration received EPAS accreditation in June 2016. This year EBS submitted its second annual Progress Report and received a positive evaluation from EPAS.

In June, a conference was held to present the results of an extensive Lead4Skills research encompassing 11 countries. The purpose was to present business challenges the companies are facing today and prepare guidelines for higher education institutions to help them better understand and address these challenges.
