We are happy to share that our colleagues, Anto Liivat (Head of Bachelor's Studies), Aet Toots (Head of International Business Administration BA programme), and Piret Masso (Head of Business Development specialisation of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration programme) recently attended the 22nd Annual BMDA Conference held at The European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk, Poland, on April 25-26, 2024.

This year’s topic "Mastering the Future: AI Impact on Business Models and Practice," provided insights into how AI is reshaping business landscapes and practices across diverse industries. Keynote presentations from renowned figures, such as Dipak C. Jain, former Dean of INSEAD and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management on "Elevating Management Education by Integrating AI and Human Intelligence," and Forbes #1 futurist Jonathan Brill on "Driving change in an increasingly uncertain world" offered a forward-thinking perspective on blending AI with traditional learning.

An extraordinary opportunity arose during the conference as participants had the honour to meet Mr. Lech Wałęsa, former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. His insights on global challenges, leadership and change were truly inspiring.

Moreover, the conference served as a platform to learn about the latest developments from international accreditation agencies such as EFMD, AACSB, AMBA, and CEEMAN. This understanding is crucial as we continue to align our programmes with globally recognised standards and expectations.
