Doctoral Defence: Anneli Bäck to Defend Her Thesis on Innovation in Growth-Oriented Microenterprises

On 12 May 2025 at 14:00, Estonian Business School (EBS) doctoral student Anneli Bäck will defend her doctoral thesis entitled “Innovation in Growth-Oriented Microenterprises: Motivation, Capabilities and Support Needs.” The defence will take place at EBS and is open to the public.

The thesis examines how innovation is fostered within microenterprises that are focused on growth, with particular attention to entrepreneurs’ motivations, the capabilities that enable innovation, and the types of external support required throughout the development process. You can read the full doctoral dissertation at https://ebs.ee/en/doctoral-theses
