Study Consultant

Estonian Business School is looking for a Study Consultant to the EBS Helsinki Campus (fixed-term contract for 2 years replacing employee during the study leave)

Overview of the employment position: 

  • Counselling Bachelor’s and Master’s level students in all study related matters (including personal study plans, prior learning and work experience recognition process)
  • Monitoring the students’ study performance and conducting the study analysis
  • Arrangements and information concerning the updates in timetable
  • Compiling the exam plan and arranging the examination process 
  • Participating in the Admission process 
  • Calculation of the tuition fee payments and monitoring the payments
  • Working in close co-operation with Office of Student Affairs and academic departments in EBS Tallinn and assisting EBS faculty members in Helsinki

Expected profile: 

  • Master’s degree
  • Very good communications and customer service skills 
  • Great organizational skills
  • Punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility, ability to work in international team 
  • Co-operative, creative approach to work
  • Excellent knowledge of English: in verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Finnish is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Estonian is not needed (an advantage if available Estonian language knowledge or study and work experience in Estonia)
  • Readiness to work on Saturdays and evenings depending on the season
