FAQ

From Poland to Tallinn — FAQs

Polish citizens are EU citizens and do not need a visa to enter Estonia or a study residence permit on the same basis as non-EU students. For stays longer than three months, EU citizens generally need to register their Estonian place of residence and follow the relevant residence-documentation steps. Confirm current requirements with the Estonian authorities.

Unless separately confirmed: travel between Poland and Estonia, food, personal expenses, insurance, accommodation deposits and optional third-party services are not included. Prices cover one academic year, not the entire bachelor’s degree.

EBS assesses applicants against its current admission criteria. Ask admissions which Polish matura / świadectwo dojrzałości documents, transcripts and English-language evidence are required for your chosen programme. Recognition and admission are subject to assessment.

Travel options include flights and overland routes through the Baltic countries. The best route depends on whether you depart from Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław or elsewhere; check current timetables and prices.

The Eedu accommodation option includes a single-occupancy furnished room for 12 months with essential move-in items, Wi-Fi, utilities and gym access. Exact details and availability are subject to confirmation.

As EU citizens, Polish students can generally work in Estonia without a separate work permit. Employment rules, tax obligations and practical registrations may still apply.

EBS package prices are in euros (EUR), while Poland uses the Polish złoty (PLN). Your total cost in PLN will depend on the exchange rate and any payment-provider fees. Budget in euros to compare the two package options accurately.
