FAQ

From Latvia to Tallinn — FAQs

Latvian citizens can live and study in Estonia under EU free-movement rules. For stays longer than three months, you generally need to register your place of residence in Estonia and complete the applicable residence-document formalities. Check current procedures with Estonian authorities.

Unless separately confirmed: travel between Latvia and Estonia, meals, personal expenses, insurance, housing deposits and optional third-party services are not included. Prices cover one academic year, not the entire bachelor’s degree.

EBS assesses applications against its published admission requirements. Ask admissions which Latvian secondary school certificate, transcripts and English-language evidence are required for your chosen programme.

Tallinn and Latvia are connected by regional transport. Actual travel time, availability and costs depend on your departure city and chosen route.

The Eedu accommodation option includes a single-occupancy furnished room for 12 months with essential move-in items, Wi-Fi, utilities and gym access. Exact details and availability are subject to confirmation.

Latvian citizens, as EU citizens, can generally work in Estonia without a separate work permit. Employment conditions and practical registration obligations may still apply.

No currency conversion is needed for euro payments: both Latvia and Estonia use the euro. Your bank may still charge specific transfer or card fees.
