Bring AI into your team's work
Personal productivity is the easy part. The real gains come when a team changes how work gets done.
In this course you map one of your team's workflows, design and run a four-week AI pilot with clear success measures, and handle the people side: fears, skills and new roles. You also visit a company that has already scaled AI in its teams. Building and running AI agents is covered in depth in the learning path “Data, Automation and AI Agents”.
By the end of the course you will have an AI pilot report: results from your team, lessons learned and a proposal for scaling up.
This course is the second step of the learning path “Leading with AI”. Also explore “AI at Work: A Practical Toolkit for Managers” and “Leading the AI-Ready Organisation”.
Who is Redesign Your Team's Work with AI intended for?
The course is designed for middle managers, team and project leads, and process owners who already use AI themselves.
We recommend completing “AI at Work: A Practical Toolkit for Managers” first or having equivalent experience.
The course runs in two parallel groups, in Estonian and in English, on different weekdays.
Explore the course
The course combines nine sessions at EBS (one of them a company visit), independent work and practical assignments. You apply the topics to a real challenge in your own organisation.
Topics Covered
Understand how to move from personal AI use to team workflows, and map your team's work.
- From tools to workflows
- Mapping the work
Design a four-week AI pilot with clear success measures and launch it in your team.
- Designing the pilot
- Launching the pilot
- Company visit: AI in teams
Handle the people side of the change and set governance rules for the pilot.
- The people side: fears, skills and new roles
- Quality, risk and governance
Assess the pilot results and plan how to scale up.
- From pilot to scale
You create an AI pilot report: results from your team, lessons learned and a proposal for scaling up, and present it to your peers.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- map a team workflow and find the tasks where AI can remove, speed up or improve work;
- design and run a four-week AI pilot in your team with clear success measures;
- lead adoption: address concerns, skills gaps and changing roles in the team;
- set simple governance for the pilot: data, quality checks and responsibilities.
Meet the other participants
In week 5 we visit a Tallinn company that uses AI across its teams. The visit is followed by a joint dinner, where you can get to know the other participants and share experiences.
Completion and feedback
During the course you coach your peers and give them feedback, and complete two milestones and a final project:
- milestone 1: pilot plan;
- milestone 2: mid-pilot results;
- final project: pilot report and scale-up proposal
You receive written feedback on each milestone within seven days. There are no exams or grades.
To complete the course and receive the certificate, you must attend at least seven of the nine sessions and present your final project.
Certificate
On completing the course you receive an EBS executive education certificate.
Learning environment
Sessions take place in EBS classrooms. Canvas is used for independent work.
Changes and cancellation
EBS reserves the right to change the content, schedule, format, location and lecturers of the course or learning path before it starts. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, EBS may postpone or cancel the course; registered participants will be informed in good time and any fees paid will be refunded in full.
