About Staff Week 2026

We’ll take a look on how to design study programmes that inspire students to turn their knowledge into impactful actions. In the center will be technology and AI and how to navigate and shape the changing learning environment – both from students’ perspective as well as educators.

Staff Week will once again be a combo of exciting workshops and networking events, a panel and company visit. Along brainstorming we’ll introduce participants to Estonia’s nature and charms, making it a memorable week for everyone.

Programme

The programme is balanced with workshops and developing different skills but we also give participants time to network and get acquainted with Estonia. Please note that EBS keeps the right to make changes to the programme.

Monday (5th of October), 11:30-20:30

Welcoming events

Workshop: “Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI: Are Students Still Required?”
In this workshop we focus on the impact of AI on learning. The goal of all processes in education is for learners to learn. However, how does AI intervene in the learning process and what we as teachers/leaders can do to manage the harmful effects of AI and amplify the positive effects? We’ll also reflect on how situations in AI in school and university differ.

  • Anneli Veispak, Associate Professor of Technology Enhanced Learning

Welcome Dinner

Tuesday (6th of October), 9:30-17:15

Workshop: “Build, Test, Learn: A Mini Service Design Sprint”

Workshop: “Story-based Curriculum”

Guided tour in Old Town
Join us on a tour to medieval world. What is hidden behind those old city walls? Who have paved the road to modern Estonia? Where were histories sudden turns that have shaped Tallinn to what it is now? Learn all about Estonia with locals.

Thursday (8th of October), 10:00-15:30

After intensive days of learning it’s time to relax in Estonian way: going to a bog. Take your waterproof shoes with you and discover the enchanted land where many mythical stories have been born.

Friday (9th of October), 10:30-14:30

Panel: “From experience to insight: how leaders learn and keep growing?”

This panel brings together alumni who reflect on how their professional journeys and business education have shaped their careers and development as leaders. They reflect on learning through experience, the value of staying curious, and how they give back to new students. The panel highlights the strength of a close-knit community where learning, growth, and support come full circle.
