CineForum: ATLAS SHRUGGED Part I

Join us for a screening of Atlas Shrugged Part I, followed by an open discussion on the film’s themes and the questions it raises about business, entrepreneurship, economic freedom and individual responsibility.

Based on Ayn Rand’s bestselling novel, the film follows railroad executive Dagny Taggart and steel industrialist Hank Rearden as they navigate a deepening economic crisis, political pressure and the mysterious disappearance of some of the country’s most capable minds.

What happens when innovation, entrepreneurship and economic freedom come into conflict with political interests and social expectations? And what role should individual ambition and responsibility play in creating prosperity?

Come watch the film and join the debate.
Open to EBS students, alumni, faculty and everyone interested in the discussion!
