Terms of Use for the SA Estonian Business School Online Store Registration Platform and Principles for Processing User Data

1. General Provisions
1.1. These terms of use for the SA Estonian Business School (hereinafter EBS), as a provider of educational services, online store registration platform (hereinafter online store) govern the registration process for becoming a user of the platform, making purchases, payment procedures, course withdrawal, changes in conditions by the service provider, discontinuation of services, principles for processing the data of registered users and students, and the resolution of disputes between parties.

2. Courses and Registration
2.1. The educational services offered in the online store include EBS bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, degree, or continuing education courses.
2.2. Registration for all courses available for registration is conducted through the online store registration platform (https://kursused.ebs.ee). The number of places in the courses is limited, and registration is possible as long as there are available spots until the course is active on the registration platform.
2.3. All prices displayed in the online store are in euros, including and excluding VAT.
2.4. Course prices and discounts may vary based on the number of selected courses, course prices, and the student’s personal discount. The personal discount is calculated in the shopping cart.
3. Access to the Registration Platform and User Registration
3.1. Purchases on the online store registration platform can only be made by logged-in users who must complete all mandatory fields. By registering, the purchaser confirms that they have provided correct information. The responsibility for the consequences of providing incorrect or inaccurate information lies with the purchaser.
3.2. By registering as a user in the online store or making a purchase, the user or purchaser confirms that they have read and agree to these terms of use for the SA Estonian Business School online store registration platform and the principles for processing user data.
4. Making a Purchase or Registering for a Course
4.1. The user selects the desired courses from the online store and adds them to the shopping cart by clicking the “Add to Cart” button.
4.2. To complete the purchase, the user must go to the Shopping Cart page (top right corner of the page), after which they will be directed to the checkout page.
4.3. After verifying the selection of courses in the shopping cart, the user confirms the purchase by clicking the “Pay” button.
4.4. The user can then choose whether they will participate in the course themselves or if another person will participate. Other course participants must register for the course individually via a participation invitation link. Invitations can be sent from the “My Account” view after the payment is received. A spot in the course is reserved for 7 days. If the prepayment invoice is not paid, the spot is released.
4.5. The purchaser can choose to pay the full course fee or designate different payers.
4.6. After payment, the purchased courses are displayed in the “My Purchases” menu.
4.7. The purchaser can check their invoices and balance on the “My Purchases” page.
5. Payment Methods
5.1. Payments for courses can be securely made via Estonian bank links (Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor | Nordea, Coop) and invoice.
5.2. Payment processing is conducted outside the online store environment in the secure payment environment of service provider EveryPay, and EBS has no access to the purchaser's bank or credit card information.
6. Registration as a Student
The agreement for providing educational services between EBS and the student comes into effect once the payment is received in the university's bank account.
7. Withdrawal from Courses
7.1. Withdrawal from a course is possible by sending an email to .
7.2. Upon withdrawal from the educational service, the service fee is refunded in full or in part, according to the Estonian Business School’s continuing education terms and quality assurance principles, section 4 (SA EBS Continuing Education Principles.docx).
8. Principles for Protecting and Processing Personal Data
8.1. EBS, as the service provider and data processor, collects and processes personal data of the online store user, purchaser, and student to fulfill the agreement and mutual obligations, based on the obligations set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act.
8.2. EBS may involve authorized processors in processing personal data under the conditions specified in these regulations.
8.3. During the provision of educational services via the online store, EBS collects the following personal data: first and last name, personal identification code, phone number, email address, cost of goods and services and payment-related information (purchase history), reference number.
9. Security and Access to Data
9.1. Personal data is stored on EBS servers, and payment-related data is stored on EveryPay servers located in Europe.
9.2. Authorized EBS employees have access to personal data to resolve technical issues related to the use of the online store and to organize the provision of educational services.
9.3. The online store employs appropriate physical, organizational, and IT security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, and disclosure.
9.4. The transmission of personal data to authorized processors of the online store, including data hosting and card and internet payment transactions, is carried out under agreements concluded between EBS and authorized processors.
10. Access to, Correction, Deletion, and Retention of Personal Data
10.1. Personal data can be accessed and corrected by writing to .
10.2. Upon closing the online store client account, personal data is deleted unless it is necessary to retain such data due to legal requirements, accounting, or consumer dispute resolution.
10.3. In case of payment and consumer disputes, personal data is retained until the claim is fulfilled or the statute of limitations expires. Personal data required for accounting is retained for seven years.
11. Withdrawal of Consent for Data Processing and Deletion of Data
By making a purchase, the online store user gives consent for the processing of their personal data, confirmed with the appropriate checkbox. Consent can be withdrawn via EBS customer support or by email at .
12. Direct Marketing Communications
12.1. The email address is used for sending direct marketing communications only if the student has given the relevant consent. The email address entered for making a purchase is not used for direct marketing.
12.2. If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the student has the right to object to both the initial and further processing of their personal data, including profiling related to direct marketing, at any time by notifying customer support via email at .
13. Changes to Terms of Use
13.1. EBS may change these terms of use for the online store registration platform and the prices of offered educational services. Notice of changes is published in the environment. The terms and prices applicable at the time of purchase are applied to the purchase.
13.2. EBS has the right to refuse to provide educational services if the course price displayed on the registration platform was incorrect due to a technical error.

Disputes related to the terms of use of the online store or the processing of personal data of the online store user with EBS are resolved through customer support or via email at .
15. Implementation Provisions
These terms of use for the SA Estonian Business School online store registration platform and principles for processing user data come into effect upon their publication under the normative documents on the EBS website and in the EBS document management system.
