Digital marketing is a central driver of growth and visibility for modern organisations. The bachelor-level Digital Marketing course provides practical knowledge and skills for planning, launching, and managing effective digital marketing campaigns across various channels. Taking place in Februrary-March 2027, the course combines digital marketing theory, real-world cases, and hands-on assignments, enabling learners to build a strong digital presence and support organisational business goals.

Who is Digital Marketing intended for?

The course is designed for learners who have basic knowledge of marketing or practical experience in digital marketing and wish to further develop and structure their skills. It is particularly suitable for those who already use digital channels and tools in their daily work but are looking for a more comprehensive and theoretical framework to support informed decision-making and strategic planning in digital marketing.

The course is delivered together with EBS bachelor’s degree students and supports continuing learners who are already active in the labour market and plan to move into more responsible roles in marketing, business development, communication, or entrepreneurship.

The english language course is expected to take place from period February to May 2027, about two months. Classes will be held once per week during working hours. The exact schedule will be confirmed in November.
Lectures will not be recorded.Registration opens in December 2026. The number of places is limited.

Topics Covered

The role of digital marketing in business, setting objectives, and establishing strategic focus.

How to build a functional website and understand the technical and content foundations that support digital marketing.

Keyword analysis, improving search visibility, and increasing organic traffic.

Planning, setting up, and managing advertising campaigns on Google and social media platforms.

Visual advertising, re-engaging target audiences, and scaling digital campaigns.

Facebook & Instagram. Content creation, community engagement, and the role of social media in brand development.

Building and maintaining customer relationships, campaign creation, and marketing automation.

Entry requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous knowledge foundations of marketing
  • Valid temporary residence permit or EU citizenship.

Upon completion of the course the student:
1. Acknowledges the main concepts, tools and channels in digital marketing. (Knowledge)

4. Applies digital marketing tools for personal and professional branding. (Individual)

Requirements for completing the course

To successfully complete the course and receive a certificate, students are required to actively participate in contact classes and complete all mandatory assessment components. Successful completion requires passing all group assignments, the test, and the practical presentation according to the established requirements. All assessment components are compulsory.

Grading Criteria

Student performance is assessed through group work and an individual test throughout the course.

The core component of the course is a team-based practical project, where students create and present a functional website and social media solution. The project is presented as group work and defended through an oral presentation. The test assesses the student’s understanding of key digital marketing principles, tools, and concepts covered in the course.

Assessment is based on the achievement of learning outcomes and the ability to apply digital marketing theory in practical and business-related contexts.

Certificates awarded

Participants who complete the course will receive a continuing education certificate with ECTS credits.

Learning Environment

The course takes place at EBS’s modern campus in Tallinn, Lauteri 3. Students have access to ergonomic classrooms, the EBS library, and the cloud-based Canvas learning platform. The study process is supported by online tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, or Canvas Conference. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. On-site attendance is required.
