Katri Kerem is Assistant Professor of Marketing, Head of the Entrepreneurship Bachelor Programme at EBS.
. Before starting academic career she has worked as an advertising and PR manager for one of the largest Estonian wholesale companies and has several years of work experience from the international advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi. She has been teaching academic and executive education courses on varied marketing topics mainly related to advertising, internet marketing and e-business in different universities in Estonia. Professor Kerem has also been teaching international seminars in IAE Aix-en-Provence Graduate School of Management in France since 2011. She has also been consulting and arranging trainings for a wide range of organizations – businesses, local governments, NGOs, etc. Professor Kerem’s research interests are mainly in the domain of consumer behaviour. She has been studying adoption of technological innovations, social media usage, adjusting to currency change and various other topics. Her special interest is consumer behaviour regarding food, including the influence of marketing on the food selection of kids and the role of food in person’s identity. Kerem has a PhD in economics from Tallinn University of Technology.
