This year, Estonian Business School is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

19th December, an honorary degree ceremony will be held at 15.00 at KUMU
20th December there is the ceremonial event at 18.30 in Estonia Concert Hall

 One of the important events in our anniversary calendar is the Honorary Degree ceremony which will be held at on 19th December 2008 at KUMU. We shall be conferring honorary doctorates on two distinguished business professors, Dr Peter Lorange and Dr Leslie Young.
 
Professor Peter Lorange is a Norwegian, who has just stepped down as President of the top European executive education centre IMD, in Lausanne. Earlier, he was President of BI Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, and one of the first directors of the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania"s Wharton School.
He is one of the foremost thinkers in the world of strategic  management, and has also been granted honorary degrees by Copenhagen Business School, State University of Management in Moscow, and Lund University.
 
Professor Leslie Young is a brilliant thinker and speaker, who is a Professor of Finance at the Chinese University in Hong Kong, and Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Centre.      

Estonian Business School is proud to present these two world-class academics in Estonia, since it underlines our commitment to the internationalisation of business thinking and practice in this country.   We shall be joined by other well-known academics who received honorary degrees earlier in our history, together with members of the diplomatic corps in Tallinn, international guests from our partner schools, and other representatives of business and academia.
