Subject declaration
The declaration of subjects must be carried out through the study information system at EBS (abbreviated as ÕIS).
After accessing the sign-in page you have to identify yourself. To do this, use the same username and password, which you received at the informatics lesson in the 1st year, to gain access to the EBS internal network.
NB! The username and the password should not be the same as those you use to get onto your group homepage to view your subjects and grades, nor WebCT passwords.
If you do not remember your password or you have never had it, turn to our IT team for help at the following addresses: andrei.kozlovski@ebs.ee or olev.loitme@ebs.ee.
They will attend to your enquiry within one working day.
Having successfully entered ÕIS, you will see your personal data (which can be altered if necessary) and also links to your study results etc.
To declare your subjects, choose the link "Rounds - Declarations - Syllabuses". The system automatically offers your study group’s standard study program for the spring semester (unless you have not taken the relevant prerequisite subjects or have failed to pass them).
For students taking standard programs:
If you agree with the list of subjects offered to you, click "confirm declaration".
NB! Confirmation of your declaration is very important because the study consultant only takes into account confirmed declarations and your account will only be completed on the basis of your confirmed declaration.
For students taking special programs:
If you want to change the subjects offered to you follow the steps below.
- to delete subjects, click the link after the subject
- to add subjects you have two alternatives:
- to select additional subjects from your study program, click "declare in addition a subject from my study program", then you can open your study program where subjects are divided using different colours into the following categories (Can be declared, Passed, Debt, Prerequisite subjects are not covered, Not taught this semester).
- to select additional subjects from other study programmes and/or together with other study groups, use the search tools at the bottom of the page – click "add the subject which has not been declared to my group". You can now look for your desired subjects by study group and by subject. Having found the subject, click "add the subject".
- Finalise the declaration by clicking the link "confirm declaration".

The last day of declaring is January 10, 2010.
