By graduating the investment management programme, you will become an investment specialist with a strong theoretical basis and practical skills who is welcomed in every professional financial enterprise.
The new International Business Administration specialisation Investment management:
- 3-year International Business Administration BBA programme with specialisation in investment management in collaboration with LHV Bank. The assistance of LHV specialists will be used in the development and carrying out of the programme.
- Specialisation in investment management constitutes preparatory work for passing the first level exam of the international Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), including:
- studies based on the CFA programme and textbooks during the second and third year;
- practical professional training after the second year;
- CFA first level test-exam which can be taken in the end of the third year.
- Students who have been awarded a Bachelor’s degree can then take the CFA level exam and those who pass it successfully are given the CFA first level certificate.
- Specialisation is meant for full-time students and the study language is English.
- The lecturers will include, in addition to the teaching staff of EBS, also leading specialists from LHV Bank.
- Up to 20 students will be selected to the investment management programme after the first year of the BBA study programme.
- Students will be selected by a joint council formed by EBS and LHV Bank. Selection is based both on the study results of the students during the first year of BBA study programme and individual interviews.
- The students with the best results will be awarded with LHV Bank scholarship in the total amount of 100 000 kroons.
