ÕIS
ÕIS - is the well-known acronym behind the information system managing the study process at EBS.
By going to the following address - http://ois.ebs.ee/eng/default.asp - you may access the following major areas of information: students, results, syllabi, subjects, lecturers, schedules, diplomas, written orders, tuition fees, etc.
Access
Your user access will depend on your status - schedules, subjects, study groups with participants, lecturers, chairs and a list of alumni can be viewed by all, while personal details are only accessible to a limited group.
Students at EBS have broader access than ordinary viewers - besides the above-mentioned, they can also view their own performance, schedules, study aids, lecturers" consultation times, feedback estimates, notices, etc. Naturally, the highest level with unlimited access is reserved for the administrators.
In order for the students to be able to use ÕIS within the limits of their user rights, they should be on the student list as well as being registered computer network users. Your ÕIS user names and passwords are the same as those providing access to the computer network at school.
Visit ÕIS regularly !
Visiting ÕIS is not mandatory, however, it is important - ÕIS provides students with all necessary information regarding their studies, including the details previously shown on the web of the respective study group, plus urgent messages. Students can only blame themselves if such information is left unread. The latter also applies to students" contact details, since it should be the task and responsibility of each and everyone to update these details.
Good luck with using ÕIS and finding all the information you require.
