Intensive courses in January 2012
Course will be held as follows:
January 16 – 20, 2012 at 17.30-20.45
January 21, 2012 at 9.00-12.15
January 23-24, 2012 at 17.30-20.45
In order to pass the students have to get a positive semester grade and pass an exam (written part 75% and oral part 25%) at the end of the course on January 26, 2012 at 17.30.
Two-week INTENSIVE COURSES of 32 academic hours are meant for the students who have failed and need to repeat the whole semester in subjects:
Business English Intermediate I
Business English Intermediate II
Business English Advanced I
Business English Advanced II

Exemption Exam
Exemption exam can be taken only once!
Those students whose English language level is high enough not to participate in language classes can apply to take an Exemption Exam to waive language classes. The eligibility level for this examination is 9-10 points scored at the entrance exam.
The Exemption Exam takes place twice a year in the middle of September and i the middle of February. If the student scores 81% and more, he/ she does not have to attend any kind of English classes and his /her result will be either A or B according to the result.
The Exemption Exam is based on the following study books:
- "Business English for Business Leader", Michael Haagensen, Mary Hinterleitner, Anne Lelumees, AetToots.,
- "Market Leader Advanced Business English Course Book", Iwonna Dubick, MargaretO"Keeffe
- "Market Leader Advanced Business English Practice File", John Rogers
The Exemption Exam consists of two parts -written and oral. The written part lasts for 4 academic hours and accounts for 75% of the total exam grade.
The oral part takes place on a fixed date after the written exam and accounts for 25% of the total exam grade
The fee for the Exemption Exam is 35 €.
Next Exemption Exm will take place in January 20, 2012.
