What is Lums?

Lancaster University  Manageiment School (LUMS) located in the North-West of England, is an international Business School of Lancaster University. LUMS combines the passion for knowledge and ideas you would expect of the UK’s top research-led business school with the distinctive human qualities of a supportive and vibrant community.

LUMS is a campus based university, which is quite unusual and it has a lot of advantages. Students live and learn on the Campus. Everything you need is there – library, shops, bars, parks, football fields, bus to town, you name it. It is always very busy and students spend a lot of their time together engaging in all sorts of activities. It was also also voted the safest campus in the UK.

Since the University’s foundation over 40 years ago, LUMS’ faculty and students have worked at the boundaries of knowledge and practice, challenging conventional wisdom and contributing to future best practice. The faculty is rated second to none in the UK, whilst our graduates are influential in every sector and every country around the world.
