Barack Obama’s road to the White House, and priorities for the new U.S. administration

On Wednesday, April 8 at 14.00 – 15.00 the U.S. embassy is having an open lecture in EBS main hall. The topic is “Barack Obama’s road to the White House, and priorities for the new U.S. administration”.

 
The lecture will be held by Robert M. Hollister, the Economic and Commercial Officer for the U.S Embassy.
 
* Robert Hollister, Jr. has been the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn’s Economic and Commercial Officer since August 2006.  He covers all U.S.- Estonian economic and commercial issues for the Department of State, including U.S. trade & investment with Estonia, intellectual property rights, energy, aviation & maritime issues. Since joining the U.S. Foreign Service in 2000, he did consular work in the United Kingdom and Mexico before coming to Tallinn.  Before that, he studied international business at The University of Memphis, Tennessee, and work as a commercial real estate analyst, and as a financial advisor with American Express corp.  He speaks Polish, Spanish and Estonian.
