EBS Alumni
EBS currently has a total of more than 3000 graduates. Among our graduates there are many distinguished business and corporate leaders. Beginning in 1994, a series of steps were initiated to hold annual alumni reunions and also to establish officers and geographical representatives throughout Estonia.
Masters Program graduates participated in plans to expand the Alumni Association activities. In 1994 MBA graduates of EBS established the "Master Club". The Master Club provides two scholarships and mediates 5 different scholarships (e.g. Rotary) a year. As the Master Club consists of graduates of the MBA program the Alumni Council unites all active graduates from the different studying forms and levels. The Alumni Council set up the EBS Alumni Fund in 1998.
The objective of this fund is to co-ordinate the interests of students, alumni and EBS and to ensure fulfilment of these interests. This includes providing scholarships for the best students, maintaining and creating relationships between graduates, advising the university, etc.
Major annual events at EBS are very popular among alumni. Every year an alumni conference is convened in December and in July the summer festival is celebrated. Every 5th year EBS celebrates its founding anniversary in December. Traditionally the anniversary is celebrated with a ball, to which graduates, students, staff members and significant members of the business world and diplomatic corps are invited. Year 2008 we celebrated the 20th anniversary. The summer festival unites EBS students, alumni and faculty and consists of an outdoor party with dancing, games and sports.
