On 3 April 2007 at 19.00 EBS is going to organise the first Alumni Dinner for EBS graduates in the restaurant Senso in the Reval Hotel Olümpia.

Alumni Dinners are very common alumni gathering tradition all over the world. It is an excellent way to meet acquaintances from the university time, build new relationships and spend a quality time with having a delicious dinner and most of all – listen to the ideas and views of well experienced people and to discuss on the actual topics.

This year professor Leslie Young is going to talk about the "The Great Mall of China and the Cash of Civilizations" exploring some subtle means whereby China is taking over the world, focusing on global warming, tax haven, immanent-contradictions-of-capitalism nexus.

Leslie Young, who was 20-years old while defended the Ph.D degree in the Oxford University, is a Professor of Finance at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and concurrently the Executive Director of The Asia-Pacific Institute of Business.

His publications include Black Hole Tariffs and Endogenous Redistribution Theory,The Hong Kong Securities Industry, The China Securities Manual and over 40 different academic articles in the leading professional publications.

Professor Leslie Young has served as consultant to the Government of Mexico on the North American Free Trade Agreement and to the Government of New Zealand. He has also consulted in the United States and has taught executive trainees for CS/First Boston.
