The ambassador of the Russian Federation holds an open lecture in EBS

On November 11 the Russian Federation ambassador held an open lecture in EBS in English on “Global Financial Crisis, its Impact on the World Economy and Economic Relations between Estonia and Russia.” Both EBS students and the delegation of Arhangelsk State Technical University took part of the lecture.

According to the Vice Rector for Russian studies Irina Nelissova the global financial crisis is a hot topic, which interests lots of people. “The economic relations between Estonia and Russia are also important, surely in a situation where the world’s economy can take significant turns in the next few years. As we know – the discussion relating the crisis now to the 1920’s has been enormous in the past few months. I am glad that the topic brought so many people together”, said Nelissova.
